The primary function of a traditional gutter system is to work in conjunction with the roof to remove potentially damaging water from the home. This helps avoid the often very expensive home improvement or repair job that results from mold, mildew, and rot from water damage.

GUTTERGrip™ was designed to compliment the home's existing water management system, and consists of a highly engineered metal top cap, a bracket support system to properly position the top cap and hold it in place, and accessory pieces (color matched inside and outside corners and end-caps) that create a factory environment for field installation to consistently meet factory designated standards. Once installed, the GUTTERGrip™ system performs all year round, in every season, protecting the significant investment the typical homeowner as in their home.

In the Fall, GUTTERGrip™ covers the existing gutters and prevent leaves and debris from clogging the gutter, significantly reducing the need for a dangerous and messy gutter cleaning. Being a top cap design placed over the existing gutter, the home's original gutter is not restricted in any way, permitting the same volume of water to be moved from the roof during a rain.

In the Winter, GUTTERGrip™ covers the area between the existing fascia board and gutter, significantly reducing the amount of moisture that can collect next to the house. The top cap permits melting snow to run off the roof and down the top cap, putting water melt into the gutter for runoff, and if cold enough, forcing icicles to form at the front edge of the gutter rather than near the house. The GUTTERGrip™ system was designed to be supported by a bracket in order to handle these snow and ice loads, and to significantly reduce damage otherwise due to ice damming from the freezing and thawing of snow.

In the Spring, GUTTERGrip™ protects the gutter from clogs from pine needles and other airborne seedlings. Most importantly, the geometry of the top cap permits the smooth runoff of water from the roof and into the gutter. The GUTTERGrip™ system can comfortably handle over 10+ inches of rain an hour, amounts which very few homes ever experience.

An speaking of beautiful, the patent pending "Gripper™" feature on the bracket snaps firmly into the top cap so that no unsightly screws need to be used to install the system. The GUTTERGrip™ system simply becomes a seamless extension of the home's existing roffline as it should be. GUTTERGrip™ is excellent design packaged in a well-engineered system.
