The top cap attaches to the bracket using the patent pending "Gripper™" that connects the bracket to the top cap without screws. Each piece of top cap is five feet long, and brackets are placed in the gutter approximately every two feet to provide excellent support for snow and ice loads.
An overlap slot on the end of each top cap helps the installer correctly position each piece side-by-side, making the installation less complicated, where the system is pleasing to look at when finished and the components properly interlocked.
